Hi everyone! I had an eventful and fun weekend. First, congratulations to
the Baltimore Ravens for their victory and emergence as the AFC champions. I
watched the game at a friend’s house and we cheered for the Ravens while
catching up on long overdue gists. I had the day off from work on Monday which
enabled me to watch the memorable inauguration ceremony of President Barack
Obama. He made so many remarkable statements during his speech and one of my
favorites is…”We must be a source of hope to the poor, the sick, the
marginalized….” … – a very powerful statement and call to duty. I wish
the president the very best in his second term.
For this post, I wanted to wear something bright with a subtle overall
look thus my decision to wear the pants and sweater. For weeks, I have had
these JCrew print pants and to accommodate my growing bump and waistline, I
discovered something called ‘belly belt‘. The “belly belt” helps extend
the buckle of my pant and it can be used with any pair of jeans or pants. For a
fun look, I wore my Forever 21 ‘Mickey Mouse’ sweater. Adding an edge to the
outfit without taking over the statement pieces, I wore my beige Valentino rockstud
pumps.

Love the outfit. Another cheaper alternative to the bellt belt is "rubber band" it works great. And for the later months when its harder getting your zip up, wear a belly band over your stomach to hold your pants up. They are available at maternity stores and target, it worked great for me so I did not have not purchase a lot of maternity pants.
LOVE this outfit! actually i love all the pieces on its own as well :)& Pretty Things
