Pink Grid

Hi loves! Hope you all had a great weekend and how has your week been? I cannot believe my baby Nolan is 9 months already. Phew!!! Don’t they grow up so fast? It still feels like yesterday when I was pregnant and could not wait to meet him and now, he is just the most precious person in our lives.

There is always something new with Nolan; he is so eager to stand and he would rather stand than sit..lol. On Sunday during the church service, he was swinging his hands to the tune of the music. Also, despite all the toys he has, Nolan prefers playing with my cell phone or grabbing my hubby’s. He has an interesting fascination with empty bottles of water and loves the squeaky sound when he squeezes hard. He will be a year in 3 months and I have already started a Pinterest birthday collage for him.

For this post, I toyed around with colors and patterns. The outfit was styled around the JCrew grid pants which I bought on sale. I waited for the sale for several months rather than buying at the original $300 plus price. I got the pink and beige pairs, which I have posted on my Instagram (@JadoreFashion) work style. For a casual approach, I paired the grid pants with a denim shirt. To offset the bright color of the pants, I paired with my Zara pale pink coat. I completed the look with a deep shade of leopard print pumps rather than black pumps – a great substitute without taking away from the look.

Outfit: JCrew pants (sold out, love these here & here) // JCrew denim shirt (here, similar here) // Zara coat (sold out, love this herehere & here) // Michael Kors watch (love this here, similar here) // Lipstick (here, love this here) // Rayban glasses (here, love this here)
