In case you haven’t noticed, leather is a huge trend right now including leather pants, jackets, dresses, tops, shorts to name a few and they are here to stay this season. Leather shorts are a big fall transition and can be worn beyond now. So, if you are wondering how to style leather shorts now that it is colder, look no further because I’ve got you covered. First, let me ask you, are you looking for ways to look chic and effortless while wearing your leather shorts now? If your answer is yes, then you are in the right place. There are so many ways to style leather shorts depending on the weather or season. For fall/winter season, today’s look is right on track. As the temperatures continue to drop, it is harder to bare your legs while wearing shorts and the same applies to leather shorts that’s why I always have a great pair of boots for the season. One of my favorite ways to style leather shorts now is by pairing it with a structured blazer over a feminine blouse or sweater, knee high boots or even ankle boots with tights.

How to Style Leather Shorts Now
There are simple things you need to style your leather shorts this season; but before you start thinking of how to style leather shorts, make sure you find the perfect leather shorts for you. I am a huge fan of high-waisted leather shorts and that’s why I bought this black pair from Mango and beige pair from Abercrombie and Fitch.
- Pair with Knee high boots: Everyone needs a great pair of knee high boots in at least black and brown. Knee high boots can be paired with your leather shorts to prevent you from baring your legs in the cold weather.
- Layer with cardigan: Cardigan are huge this season as well. You can pair your leather shorts with cropped cardigan alone or layer a long cardigan over a shirt or blouse.
- Add a blazer: For a tailored look, add a blazer. Whether it is a solid color blazer or print blazer, it is up to you. Right now, I prefer print blazers to add a character to the look.
- Accessorize with a hat: I know I have been singing praises about wearing a hat and that’s not stopping anytime soon. Hats have a way of elevating the simplest look and making it chic. If you haven’t picked up a great hat, I will suggest these Lack of Color hats. Another brand of hats that I love is Janessa Leone, but they are more on the pricier side.
