Happy Monday
beautiful people! Hope you all had a great weekend. I am starting the new week
with a work inspired look which includes one of my favorite work pieces
i.e. apencil skirt. Also featured is a turtleneck
sweater. As a kid, I was not a big fan of turtleneck sweaters but lately,
I have started embracing turtleneck sweaters especially cashmere ones.
Cashmeresweatersare high quality pieces and do not give a “scratchy
neck” feeling.
For today’s
work style, I am showcasing how to incorporate color into fall work style in a
subtle way. This can be achieved by choosing a bold color and
styling it around lighter shades of the color. The light color
tones help create a subtle look without taking away from the color focus. In
this case, the main color focus is cobalt blue (i.e. the turtleneck),
which is styled around light blue color tones – theskirtandjacket. I completed the look withtwo-tone pumps and the cobalt blue color
complements the turtleneck pulling the whole look together.
