Trust me, the holiday is not complete without a plaid outfit. During the Christmas season, you are bound to see a lot of plaid items and outfits everywhere and they make great holiday gifts. With that said, there are so many easy holiday plaid outfits to wear now and this holiday no matter how you celebrate this season. A plaid outfit will not disappoint you. Every year, I cannot resist picking up plaid outfits for myself or kids. Last couple of years, I have worn a lot of plaid looks that my photographer named me the “plaid queen” LOL! Who doesn’t love a plaid piece?! Last year I wore velvet plaid pants from JCrew and the year before, I wore one of my favorite plaid skirts which is also from JCrew. This year, I decided to mix this plaid skirt and plaid shirt with details for our Christmas shoots. This year’s Christmas shoot was all about plaid. Nova is wearing this tiered plaid skirt in XXS in ivory multi (also picked up this black plaid skirt) with Janie and Jack ruffle top while Nolan wore this plaid shirt paired with navy slim jeans and loafers. Plaid prints have a way of setting the tone for the holiday. It’s a very nostalgic feeling for me because it brings back a lot of fun childhood memories.
With only 10 days to Christmas, get yourself and your family these easy plaid outfits to wear now. There are so many plaid options you can try including this plaid shirt with jeans or joggers, plaid dress, or skirt as seen on me. So, no matter how you are celebrating this holiday, in the office, cozy at home, there are easy plaid outfits to wear now for the holiday.

- Plaid tops go with so many different bottoms. You can dress it up for an office event or dress down in jeans and sweatpants.
- Whatever your preference is, you can either wear a plaid top or plaid bottom this holiday. If you want to take an extra step, you can double pair your plaid look just like I did with this skirt and top or previously here.
PLAID FOR KIDS
- Plaid looks are not only for adults, they look amazing on kids. I have always bought plaid pieces each year for the kids and this year, we wore it for our holiday shoot.
