Hello guys! Hope you all had a great weekend. It rained throughout the weekend, but we didn’t let it stop us from our pre-planned activities. Saturday was Nolan’s first swimming class which proved to be interesting and fun. The class was to acquaint him with the pool and circle time play with kids’ rhymes. It was fun and this is one of the activities hubby and I selected for him. In the evening, I went out for a date night with hubby at a Japanese restaurant. The rest of the weekend was spent cooking, resting and working on blog related items.
My love for pastel and blush tones has not diminished. I previously mentioned in my “Trend Alert: Blush Tone” post that pastels and blush tones will be predominant this spring and summer. You will definitely see more styles with spring pastels. This is not the first time I am styling an outfit around blush tones or the asos peplum hem skirt. You can check out prior posts here and here. I took a casual/relaxed approach the first time I wore the skirt. For this post, I went for a feminine approach with the addition of the satin cami – love the back details. I completed the look with a pastel pale pink coat and beige pumps.
Outfit: Asos skirt (here, similar here & here) // Asos Cami (here, love this here & here) // Aldo clutch (old, love this here & here) // MAC lipstick (here, love this here & here) // Rayban glasses (here, love this here) // Zara coat (old, similar here, love this here & here) // Christian Louboutin pumps (sold out, affordable pair here & here, similar here) // Michael Kors watch (old, similar here)
