The clock struck 12 and I am back to reality like Cinderella. If only life was a vacation huh! Well, enough of my whinning because I had an amazing time in Costa Rica. Just like one of my readers mentioned, it is more of an outdoor vacation, which wasn’t bad at all. A trip to the rainforest, volcano and city tours was enough taste of the tropical paradise. Well, paradise subject to diverse interpretations…lol
No, this isn’t my “paradise” outfit, but more of an outfit for my reality. Yes, reality in terms of my 9-to-5 job. After a long day at work, I had to put myself together in an attempt to look less exhaused and more photo ready…hence these beautiful pictures 😉
It is easy to assume that 9-to-5 outfits include black, white, brown, grey…more depressing listing those colors. A reader once asked “what type of job do you do because I don’t think I can wear colors at work” (referring to the outfit here). I work with the Federal gov. and I believe that at most work places, the subtle use of colors should be okay except if you are required to wear uniforms. With this outfit, I added a floral blouse, not vibrant, but enough to add touch of color to the neutral tones.

I heart your outfit. The floral blouse is too cute.Honestly, there are days when I just look bland and it's 'all black everything' or something. And funny enough, it's usually on Mondays. lolol. But from Tues-Fri, I get into the work spirit and always inject a bit of personality into my outfits. Yeah, I may be sitting down half of the day but I look good doing so. lolol.

Unfortunately I do not dress up for work 🙁 I just don't have the enthusiasm to dress up because my job really drives me insane 0___0But when I move on to something else I plan on putting more effort. So for now I just dress up and live for the weekends and after work happy hours.
