Happy Monday everyone! Hope you all had a fabulous weekend because I did 😉
I had a long weekend and tried to get several things done. Whenever I am home, I end up cooking a lot. On my twitter account here, I tweeted pictures of what I cooked.
On Friday, I started my day doing laundry while prepping all I needed for cooking before heading to the gym–yep, you heard it, I started going to the gym about a week ago and I am starting Pilates this weekend. It will be my first time. After working out in the gym, I went to get some cold smoothie, then headed home to shower before I left to visit my Aunt. I had not seen my aunt’s kids since May and they used my visit to hold me down insisting we go out. I took them to Party City to buy costumes and then went to “Chuck E Cheese”. I couldn’t wait to get home and go to bed. Dealing with 3 kids (ages 6, 4 and 2) at “Chuck E Cheese” was not easy but it was definitely fun. LOL!
On Saturday, I attended to some work duties before heading to my mom’s. My mom overfed me with good food, which made me sleep. After about an hour at her place, we got ready for my cousin’s first birthday where I ended up playing the role of a photographer + fashion show teacher. It was an interesting evening, but I love the kids, which was fun.
On Sunday, we went to church and after service, I worked on some Jadore-fashion tasks and responded to emails. Later in the evening, my hubby and I along with some friends went to see a comedy show by a Nigerian comedian called Baskemouth. He was hilarious. He kept everyone laughing for over 2 hours. After the show, I ran into some amazing readers including Sope–it was nice to meet you all. After the show, we didn’t get home until 1am. Guess who was up 5 hours later for work…me! In all, my weekend was as I had planned…FUN!
