What To Wear To a Summer Wedding

Summer wedding, beach wedding, wedding guest, asos dress,
What I Am Wearing:
Dress (here, more wedding dress here/here) // Bag (here, similar here, love this here/here) // Shoes (here) // Earrings (here, more colors here/here)

Have you been invited to a garden/outdoor wedding this summer? If so, I hope today’s post inspires you. Today’s post revolves around a wedding guest’s look to a garden/outdoor or beach wedding. As mentioned here, wedding attires will vary based on the theme, location and season. Outdoor weddings call for relaxed, easy and fun looks and you should consider wearing maxi 'flowy' dresses such as this abstraction dress (worn here). Also, outfits with relaxed and fun colors such as this yellow maxi dress or this floral piece will be awesome.

Don’t limit your choices to dresses; you can absolutely wear jumpsuits to weddings this summer. This floral jumpsuit will be great for a garden or a beach wedding. To accessorize, you can add straw bags for fresh, fun and classy looks and you are guaranteed to stand out from the crowd.

Wedding Guest

wedding guest, pink dress,
What I Am Wearing:
Dress (here/here) // Shoes (old, try this here, more pink shoes here, here, & here)

It is wedding season once again! I often receive questions with regards to outfits to wear to weddings and I am hoping this post can inspire you. Generally, wedding guests’ attires will vary based on the wedding theme and location. For black tie, formal or garden events, this bow dress or a previous look here will be great. For garden weddings, it is best to go for something light, with soft colors tones, floral and fun prints...similar to the floral dresses I wore here and here. I have rounded up some of my favorite wedding guests’ looks suitable for different themes and locations.

White Wrap Dress

What I Am Wearing:
Me: White dress (here/here, more white dresses here) // Cult gaia bag (here, /more colors hereblack version here) // Lemon print scarf (here) // Aquazzura shoes (old, similar here/here, love this here) // Earrings (here/here)
Mother's outfit: Dress (here) // Cardigan (here) // Shoes (old, Old navy)
Nolan's outfit: Zara pants & shirt (similar pants (here) // Nolan's shoes (here)

I enjoy wearing white dresses in the spring and summer and I came across this white wrap dress by an Australian label while searching for a fun and easy eyelet dress. It is a great piece and can easily be mistaken for a two-piece skirt and top combo.

The wrap skirt ties at the waist with an exposed back zip. The dress is partially lined and I love the elbow length sleeves and the scalloped edges. You can pair with heels or flats and I plan on styling it with converse for a day out. I posted a glimpse of this look on my Instagram on Sunday for Mother's Day.

Happy Monday! Hope you all had a wonderful Mother's Day weekend! My weekend was awesome and filled with love and laughter (as seen on my Instagram story). In addition to the Mother's Day, it was also my birthday weekend. Today is my birthday; so the celebration continues. ;) I thank God for another year and most importantly, for life. Today, I am dressed in one of my favorite Zimmermann dresses for my birthday. The spaghetti strap crossing on the back caught my attention and I love this dress. It is a fun dress and perfect for my celebration. I completed the look with green drop earrings to complement the floral print.

Last Minute Mother's Day Gift Ideas

Mothers Day gift ideas,
 One / two / three / four / five / six / seven / eight / nine / ten / eleven / twelve / thirteen / fourteen

Mother's Day is on Sunday and I have compiled some of my favorite items that will make great Mother’s Day gifts. There are so many gift ideas for moms, new moms and expecting moms and don’t forget that most ladies will love to receive flowers in addition to gifts. Talking about gifts, Nordstrom has great mother's day gift selections in varying price ranges. Perfumes are always lovely and I am a big fan of Narciso RodriguezJo Malone, and Chloe perfumes. Watches also make great gifts and I am currently eyeing this Michele watch -- a splurge, but it is timeless! Alex and Ani has lots of amazing sentimental jewelries from bangles to necklace charms for all mothers.

Gift for expecting and new mom
This is a great time to indulge her with that diaper bag or chic stroller that she has been eyeing or pinning on Pinterest. In case you are not sure what exactly to get, the Orbitz stroller, BugabooStokke Xplory or Mima Xari stroller will be a great splurge.

How To Wear Gingham

how to wear gingham maxi dress,
What I Am Wearing:
Dress (here, also eying this here) // Bag (here/here, more here) // Flats (here, here or here) // Hat (here) // Earrings (here, more  here/here) // Denim jacket (here)

This week appears to be all about maxi dresses for me. Yesterday’s post was about this pleated maxi dress (here) and today’s post is about a gingham print. Gingham is a classic print making a renewed presence on 2017’s trendiest lists and I have always been a big fan of prints especially those with dark hues. For today's post, I went with a maxi length style. Besides the print, the fit and length  of this gingham strap dress is amazing. To avoid being plain, I accessorized with fun pieces and colors. The blue earrings complement the blue print and the lace-up flats add a pop of color to the outfit.

Spring Must-Have Dress: Abstraction Maxi

Pleated abstraction maxi dress,
What I Am Wearing:
Dress (In Size XS here, got this here/here, love this here/here, more here) // Bag (here, /more colors here) // Hat (here) // Shoes (here, love this here) // Earrings (here, more  here/here)

This dress personifies elegance and grace and the abstract pleated colors showcase “must have” colors on spring dresses. From the cross-strap detail to the pleated silhouette, the dress is a show stopper which is probably why I couldn't take my eyes of it when I saw it online...definitely a must-have!

I was lucky to get it when it went up on sale weeks ago and I wore it during Easter as shown on my Instagram. This dress will be great for spring graduations or wedding events and you can dress up in heels or casually in flats. I will be packing this dress for my next vacation with some amazing flats. I completed the look with the "It bag", yellow earrings to complement the dress and straw hat for fun.

Not only is the tiered flounced ruffle detail on this "Lost lover romper" amazing, the fit is unbelievable. It is one of those rompers that you can dress up in heels for a date/outing or in flats for a brunch with friends. For today’s post, I planned on wearing beige pumps but decided to pair the outfit with leopardpumps for a fun and unique spin to the look in addition to the vibrant blue drop earrings . For a different appeal, I wore a fuchsia pink lipstick.

This post is brought to you by CJ Affiliate’s VIP Content Service. Thank you Lucky Brand for sponsoring this post. While this was a sponsored opportunity from Lucky Brand, all content and opinions expressed here are my own.

Lucky Brand off shoulder midi dress and strap heels,
What I Am Wearing:

Lucky Brand dress (here) // Shoes (here)

I need comfortable outfits to get me through the warm spring weather. I am a huge fan of “off shoulder pieces” and when I came across this off shoulder midi dress from Lucky Brand, I fell in love almost immediately. I can’t believe this is Lucky Brand! The dress is versatile with removable off shoulder straps and the side pockets remain a feature I love in spring/summer dresses.

For today’s look, I styled the dress with  strappy block heel sandals also from Lucky Brand. The sandals are comfortable and practical for everyday use. This is definitely a look I can wear all day. Another way to style this off shoulder midi dress for spring is by layering with a jacket. Personally, I enjoy  layering with denim jackets to exude casual chic looks and this light wash denim jacket will be great with the dress.

P.S. All shoes are 40% off through April 30th here
Lucky Brand is offering 10% off for all new email signups here +  FREE shipping on orders over $50.

Pastel Colors: Lace Midi Skirt

Lace pencil skirt,
What I Am Wearing:
Skirt (here, similar here/other lace skirts here/here) // Chicwich top (here, try this herehere/here) // H&M duster coat (here, similar here/here/here) // Shoes (here, budget friendly here/here)

There is something refreshing about mixing pastel colors in spring and today's look is a mix of light blue lace skirt with a pale pink top for a spring pastel ensemble. I am a big fan of pastel colors for lace skirts and this lace midi skirt is no exception. I previously styled a pink lace skirt here and here for a pastel look. For this look, I incorporated a duster coat that complements the color of the skirt and it feels good in this weather.  I completed the look with beige pumps; great color tone for pastel looks.

Different Take On Pajama Style

pajama style,
What I Am Wearing:
Pants (On sale here or here; matching print top here/here) // top (here or here) // Saint Laurent bag (here/here) // Shoes (here or here, budget friendly here/here) // Alex and Ani bracelet for a Cause (here) // Lipstick "Lady Danger" (here) // Earrings (here)

Happy Monday! Hope you all had a great weekend! I am showcasing pajama style with a twist for today's look. When it comes to styling pajamas, you can pair it together or separetaly. This JCrew silk pajamas style print pants is amazing! In addition to the fun print, I love the ankle length and it has a matching top which looks amazing when paired together; for today's look,  I styled separately.

There are so many ways to style pajama style sets. You can style casually with flats or formally with button down shirts or a blouse. With the current fluctuating spring weather, this eyelet "lace bib" top was the right choice. The eyelet sweater is a light summer-weight cotton which makes it appropriate for the current season. I completed the look with a bold lipstick,  green drop earrings, black pumps and a bag to complement the silk print.

Bump Style: White Dress

pregnancy style, midi white dress,
What I Am Wearing:
Dress (Non-maternity for $43 here or here, love this here/here...more white dress here/here; maternity white dress here) // Earring (here, more here) // Christian Louboutin pumps (here, budget friendly here)

I look for 'stretchy' pieces when styling my bump because they are very comfortable and adjust to the waist line. With such pieces, I have the flexibility of shopping not only from the maternity section but from all clothing sections as such, I can wear the same clothes after my pregnancy .This is why I love this white dress ; I definitely plan on wearing it after my pregnancy and the dress will be a great outfit to a spring/summer event. For a pop of color, I paired with bold blue drop earrings.
