About a week ago, I paired this Chicwishhigh neck top with a navy blue suit for work.
For today’s post, I am showcasing a casual approach to styling the blouse by
pairing it with a denim overall. I completed the look with my oxfords...a perfect
outfit for the weekend!
Here are some of my favorite flats
for the spring and summer (below $100) and tassels and multi straps will definitely
be huge this season. Gladiatorsare amazing when paired with shorts
and dresses as seen in my previous posthere.
Chicwish skirt (c/o here, other polka dot skirt here & here, also love this here) // Chicwish top (c/o hereblack version here) // Jacket (old, try this here) //Christian Louboutin heels (here, budget friendly here & here) // Lipstick "Lady Danger" (here)
mixing prints and when it comes to styling pieces, similarities such as colors
and patterns are essential. Today, I
am “mixing polka dots”prints and the black and white polka
dot pattern is similar to both items. I love the unique bow knot details on the Chicwishblouse...feminine and classy. I
completed the look by adding black pieces - a trench coat and my shoes. The accessories
tie both prints together without taking away from the overall look.
I could not resist another beautiful
floral dress fromChicwish and thispeonies print dress is amazing. The color mix is great and it
was a perfect Easter outfit for me. If you follow my Snapchat: Jadore-Fashion, you probably noticed how I paired it with leopard shoes.
For today's post, I wore my gold bow
heels to bring out the gold floral details of the dress. The color
combination of the dress makes it easy to mix and match different
accessories like the brown belt I wore to accentuate the waist.
Banana Republic dress (c/o here, other color here) // Banana Republic choker necklace (c/o here) // Denim jacket (try this here or here) // Keds (here) // Flats (here or try this here)
weather has been great and thisfloral fundress is a perfect one to start the Easter
weekend. I love the print, color combination, the cut, style and pocket detail;
together, they create a fun vibe.
today's look, I am showcasing a fun and relaxed look that incorporates flats
and shoes. I wore sneakers on some of
the pictures and shoes on others. I enjoy pairing pieces with sneakers
especially my whiteKedsand Converse. Sneakers when paired
with some clothes create a balanced and unique look. I also paired the dress
with my"pom pom" shoes
and completed the look with adenim jacketandchoker necklace.
here and it is time to start gathering pieces for the season. For a few weeks,
I have browsed through several sites looking for spring items to add to my
wardrobe. I have compiled some of my favorites like this mustard yellow
skirtthat I look
forward to pairing with a graphic tee or button down shirt. Denim skirtsare must haves this season and they
can be paired with heelsorflats. What do you have on your spring list?
AQAQ skirt (sold out, love this Aqaq here, here-- maxi skirt options here & here) // White shirt (here, & here ) // Christian Louboutin heels (here, budget friendly here & here) // MAC "Ruby Woo" Lipstick (here)
This is one of those skirts that can
be “dressed up” or down. The "origan peplum" detail caught my
attention and I love pieces that are simple and unique. For this post, I went
with a more formal approach by pairing the skirt with a button down shirt and
black pumps. This will be a great look for a business or black tie event and
the National Portrait Gallery in DC was an ideal location for the shoot.
we are in spring and to kick off the season, I posted spring and Easter dresses
on the blog yesterday. Spring is one of my favorite seasons and I look forward
to warmer days.
I got thefloral dresson this post a few months ago when it was
on sale and I had to get the only available size (6). With a belt and slight
adjustment, it fits properly and if a size you want is not on sale, wait a
couple of days for other sizes to come in stock.

Today officially marks the beginning of spring. This also means Easter is a week from today. For those that celebrate Easter, I have selected some of my favorite spring inspired Easter dresses that will be great for church or Easter brunch. Also, these dresses are great to kick of spring.
I wearoveralls , I reminisce my high school days. Days
when we showed up at birthday parties and see several people rocking overalls; never
gets old! I find the casual feel of overalls appealing and I styled this overallherewith a chambray shirt. The look on this post
is my attempt to style an overall by incorporating stripes. Stripesremain
a must-have this season and also a staple to your wardrobe. Don’t forget to
stock up onstriped longorshort sleevetops for the season.
Citizens Mark blazer (c/o here in size 4) // Pants (here love this here and here) // Shirt (similar here & here) // Lipstick MAC "Flat Out Fabulous" (here) // Christian Louboutin heels (here, budget friendly here & here)
it comes to suits and blazers, I love pieces that not only fit well, but are
made with great quality wool just like this Citizen's Mark blazer. I was
impressed with the amazing quality, durability, fit and cut and it is
definitely great for work.
I have teamed up with Citizen's Mark for a $50 code
off all purchases at Citizen's Mark. The
code is JADOREFASHION50 and is valid until March 29, 2016. Happy
For work styles, I like pieces
that are fun and classy with lovely prints and patterns. Thispolka dotbow topwas exactly what I needed; the bow andpolka dotdetail
added a fun feel to my work look. I completed the look with a classicpencil skirtand pumps.
Wearing: H&M cover up (old/sold out, try this herehere & here) // Crown rose swimsuit (c/o here) // Sunglasses (here) // Hat (similar here) // Second swimsuit (here) // White shirt as cover up (here) // Hat (here, love this here)
with a group of fun individuals definitely made my second visit toMontego Bayinteresting. From chatting all night to
relaxing on the beach, and going on fun excursions and city tours, Jamaica was
a trip to remember.
We had the opportunity of eating at a Jamaican bakery and our tour through
downtown Montego Bay was fun and we got to see the Rose Hall Great House along
the way and we stopped close to Margaritaville for some shopping.
runways to stores to street styles, there is an influx of “off shoulder tops”. Off
shoulder is a must have for the spring/summer 2016. I narrowed down some of my
favorites and some dresses with varying price ranges. Off shoulder tops can be
paired with shorts, skirts and pants and still look great. In the coming weeks
and as the weather warms up, I will be styling some of my favorite off
comes to off shoulder tops, I am a huge fan and thisdressis
a great one with ruffles and tassels. For our vacation in Jamaica, I wanted
something colorful and fun that can be worn as a cover- up or paired with
shorts. I wore this to a tour of the beautiful Mayfield Falls and it was an
amazing place and the waterfall, a spectacle to behold.
On our way
back from the Mayfield Falls, we stopped by a local restaurant for coconut bread
and beef patties. Check out myInstagramfor
behind the scene shots in Jamaica.
Two weeks ago, I traveled
with a group of friends toMontegoBay, Jamaica and it was my 2nd visit. When my
husband and I went in 2011, we stayed at the Palms and for this trip, the whole
group stayed at RIU Montego Bay . It was an amazing experience traveling with a group of friends.
Here are some of my favorite romper and playsuits:
get over stripes and there is something about wearing /mixing stripes that
never gets old. I layered a button down ruffle
a casualstripe topfor a casual weekend look (a chic
weekend look or lunch or dinner date)
P.S. Shopbop is having a spring sale. Time to start updating your spring wardrobe. I have already taken advantage of some items including this collared jumpsuit. I also have this top and pants in mind.
Month and I wish you the very best this March as we approach a new season.
right around the corner and I feel a sense of excitement in anticipation of
warm sunny days. Khaki with a nod to any military style is a trend to look out
for this spring. The green tones are my current favorite and I look forward to
styling more khaki tones. I wore thisgreen sweater(here) and paired with jeans for a
monochromatic look. For this post, I completed the look with aleopard print beltand pumps.
