Azalea Maxi

stella0078-1785831667-O

Hello, beautiful people! I am trying to make this post as quick (I know thats impossible lol) as possible because I have a paper and presentation due tomorrow; but after tomorrow, I officially have one day of school left as a graduate student. I am beyond excited.

stella0079-1785831671-O

I bet you guys are already tired from hearing so much about my school stories, but that's pretty much all I have going on at this point. After spending most of my Saturday at the library, I went for the youth/singles' program at my church. I needed a getaway from books and anything related to Financial strategies. At the program, I had this heart warming experience when I was approached by these two lovely ladies who were fans of my blog. I was flattered and overwhelmed with their compliments and how inspired they were. Also during the program, we had to introduce ourselves to someone new that we had never met; so I went to introduce myself to a young lady by the name Tope. During our conversation I found out she also knew about my blog, which was nice. She seemed like a lovely girl and we sat through the program enjoying the drama and music, which was fun.

Azalea Jcrew skirt

Regarding my outfit, I cannot tell you how much I love this JCrew skirt. The color and length is just awesome. It could be dressed up or down--definitely what I was expecting and more. And my Zara bag, it is so huge that I use it for everything including as a school bag :)

I am deeply touched, THANK YOU all for choosing Jadore-Fashion.
I appreciate it all (my eyes is already filled my tears, so I will stop here because I can be a cry baby lol)

Emerald & Mustard

Hello beautiful people! Another week and closer to May! The month May is looking like the best month--birthday + graduation...I am excited :) Hope everyone had a great weekend.

I spent my day as usual in the library. In fact, if you follow me on Facebook, I posted a comment complaining how tired I was because I was in the library on Sunday until 1am working on 40 page paper. Thank goodness that is over now because I just submitted it about an hour ago. Now, all I need is sleep. The word "sleep" is missing in my syllabus.

Strips & Prints

How is everyone doing this week? Hope you all enjoyed your Easter weekend.
Did you guys do anything special?

For me, I really didn't have much celebration or anything special. After working on Saturday, I headed to Panera to meet with my study group since the school library closed earlier.  We spent Saturday working on two reports that are due in the coming week. Studying at Panera Bread this weekend, I am beginning to think that the store's marketing strategy is to intentional make the environment cold because it was so cold in there that we had to constantly consume coffee and soup. I don't know how many caramel latte and chicken noodle soup I consumed this weekend at Panera. Smh!

Then on Sunday, after the dancing and church fun, I picked up my bags and head to school again. This time, I had to divide my time between two groups. I met with my "Financial Statement" group before continuing the night with my "Strategic Management" group. Exhausted is an understatement on how I feel. The good news is that I have three more weeks of graduate school. :)

Don't forget you can catch up with me on Facebook here for more interactions. On my Facebook page, I post a lot items from current obsessions, items bought, or where to buy something that I love, editorial & street style inspirations. Also on my twitter here, I interact with all followers and I answer all questions that you may have right away.

The Fashion Items Making Its Mark

Traditionally worn by skydivers, Formula One racers and small children, the jumpsuit has made its way onto the catwalks over the last few years. Kate Moss, Emma Watson, Blake Lively and Eva Longoria are all fans of the fashion forward look. But if you’ve invested in some of the fabulous playsuits and jumpsuits at Very, what should you be doing to ensure you’re rocking the look?

Firstly, adapt your outfit to the season. During the cooler months, team a bright playsuit with a blazer jacket, black, high denier tights and cute pumps for daywear and patent heels for the evening. This is perfect for those blustery days when the perils of wearing a dress are all-too-obvious for us ladies. A playsuit will avoid those awkward moments and mean that you don’t have to spend your days holding down your skirt.

And we all know that a good outfit can be accessorised for all seasons. As soon as it’s warm enough, ditch the tights for some fake tan and super high wedges. A cardigan and heavy statement jewellery will finish off your spring or summer look and help you embrace the youthful element of the playsuit. Perfect for the poolside, shopping with friends or a sunny date, this look will always be a winner.

So, when can a jumpsuit go wrong? Avoid a full-legged jumpsuit if it comes in orange; you’ll look like you’re an extra on Prison Break. In fact, be wary of long-legged jumpsuits if patterned, too, for the same reason you’d never wear a patterned top and trouser set. Floral or patterned looks will have a great effect in a playsuit, because your legs break it up a little. Avoid a jumpsuit if you’re tall, since it’s likely to end up being too tight as a result of your longer torso or the legs will swing round your ankles. For the tall ladies out there, your long legs will look fabulous making their way out of a playsuit or go for the tall maxi dresses collection.

Now wardrobe staples for fashionistas all over the world, the jumpsuit and playsuit are fabulous ways to show off your playful and glamorous side in one look.
