Wild Thing

How is everyone doing? Just got home couple hours ago from taking my last finals for this week for my class International Business. I am super exhausted. All I can think about right now is my bed--well, after this beautiful post for you guys :) I can't believe I have one more week of class. I am super excited.

I wore this outfit over the weekend for lunch and study at Panera. The weather was surprisingly warmer than usual for November. Talking about November, today is the last day of the month. This means that Christmas is right around the corner. I can't wait to decorate my Christmas tree and start my Christmas shopping.

Have you guys started your Christmas decoration? What is one thing on your Christmas list?

Traveling pants

Hello Beautiful people! Hope everyone had a lovely Thanksgiving holiday and a nice weekend. My weekend was relaxing. Besides relaxing, eating, and fun evenings with hubby, family and friends, I had to prepare for my final exams. I took one of my finals tonight, which went well; so right now, I am officially done with my Monday classes, Investment Finance. I am looking forward to two more weeks of school then I can officially put my mind on my trip to Nigeria.

My trip to Nigeria this December is almost bitter/sweet because I have not been back since my grandma passed almost 4years ago. I can't believe that when I get there I will not get to see or hear her funny comments about my heels. I was a bit emotional last night looking at this necklace that I bought from Macy's that reminded me so much about her and also knowing that she would have celebrated her birthday on November 25th. I truly miss her.

Anyway, the sweet part of this trip is that I get to enjoy the company of family and friends that I have made over the years. I also get to see some friends that I have made through blogging. I think it will be nice to organize a dinner with all the bloggers, friends, fashionista in Nigeria. If you are interested and will be in Nigeria in December/January, email me.

Classic Mind

Hello beautiful people! Can you believe thanksgiving it already here and the following week is December--I smell Christmas. Has anyone started their Christmas shopping yet? I haven't started and I don't anticipate starting until school is over in less than three weeks; but I have been compiling my list.

On the other hand, I have an idea on some of the things that I want for Christmas. One of the main gifts that stick out of my mind right now is that I want another Michael Kors watch :)

On another note, my weekend seem pretty short. As usual, I spent most of my Saturday in the library. On Sunday after church, I went out with about fifteen friends for another surprise dinner planned for a friend at Cheesecake factory. Before we went for dinner with friends, I had to make my favorite okra soup. I ate so much of the soup that I could barely eat when I got to Cheesecake; so, I had some quesadilla with Strawberry daiquiri--fun night indeed!

Beauty Post: My Secret
I receive emails and comments almost everyday asking me about what beauty products do I use, so as an answer to all those questions received and though I don't consider myself the best in this cosmetic world at all, here I bring you a post speaking about my everyday make-up products that I use--My secret!

I love to try out new things, but the truth is that I use just a few of them. I normally wear a very natural make-up--I want it to be as simple as possible.

A lot of you that follow my blog probably know how much I love red lipstick. Of all makeup items, I am  a tiny bit obsessed with lipsticks. Beside my obsession with my MAC RubyWoo (red) lipstick, I can't get enough of my purple Make For Forever Lipstick and NARS Schiap (fuschia)

Morning Routine:

  • I use Neutogena Deep Scrub to wash my face
  • After washing my face, I apple Neutogena SPF15 Moisturizer

Night Regime:

  • I use Cetaphil Normal to Oily skin to wash my face as night

  • After washing with Cetaphil, I apply Neutogena light night cream

Which products do you use in your daily make-up routine?
 Which ones do you recommend?

Fallen leaves

After a long weekend I was so ready to start a new week afresh and ready to go; but late last night, I started feeling a bit under the weather. I don't like feeling sick and I can't afford to be sick or lazy since I have few weeks of school left--meaning that I have lots to do. I know I can be  a bit hard on myself; therefore, right now, I am trying to keep up to my vitamins and squeeze in some rest here and there.

Anyway, onto my weekend; I spent my Saturday afternoon meeting with my classmates for group work and then I got home to get ready for a friend's surprise going away gathering, which was so much fun. I enjoy small gatherings with friends and games and this event was definitely a great one.

Sunday was spent with my husband. Normally, we use Sunday for movies, dinner dates, and relaxation, which is exactly what we did.

Through the lights

My activities this week are so far from interesting. My daily activities from Monday until today has  revolved around work and school, but school is definitely taking the lead this week! I have been on a 3-4hrs sleep schedule just to meet up with assignments. Funny enough, I still feel alert and vibrant  majority of the time without any coffee. Thank goodness that I have Friday off--yayyyyy! :)

For the rest of the week, I plan on going to the spa with mom and possibly a dinner with my friends Ivelisse and Madeline. Until then, I will keep myself busy with school assignments as usual.

On another note, I can't get enough of fur (faux) vest. I just love that it can styled in different ways: casual, classic, and glamorous. Since I was going out for a friend's event, which was during the day, I went for the casual and fun route.

Thank you all for the birthday wish to my mom...I was able to show her all the sweet comments :)
Enjoy the rest of your week!

Zara Belle

Another new week! Hope everyone had a lovely weekend! For the most part, my weekend was relaxing and fun. I spent my Saturday cooking one of my favorite spicy Jollof rice--I wish you guys can taste it, but you will need bottles of water next to you to get through couple spoons--my friend Nomy can testify to it ;)

After cooking in the early Saturday afternoon, I went for relaunching of my hairstylist's salon, which was awesome. Since I am so into interior decorating, I was amazed at the interior decor of the salon. I have been taking notes because once I graduate next May, I will have a lot of time to transform my garage into my on walk-in closet. Right now, I am thinking all white with zebra prints, black, and red details. Until then, I am letting my imagination run wild. :)

On Sunday, immediately after church and couple pictures by my friend/photographer Paosin, I had to go to the library for two group nerd hat was back in full force dealing with Investment Finance and International Business cases. I stayed in the library until almost 9pm. Immediately I got home, I could only picture my bed with Ipad scrolling through pictures. Few minutes to an hour later, I was in dream land with my music still playing in my ears :)

On another note, tomorrow is my mom's birthday, so I want to use this time to wish the most caring, loving, wonderful, beautiful lady in my life a HAPPY BIRTHDAY! I love you so much mommy and cheers to many more years. Kisses!
To you guys, thanks for loving and supporting me!
Have a great week!
Big hugs & kisses
