I am ready to celebrate this Independence Day weekend with friends and family members. I plan on resting, catching up on my favorite shows, eating at one of my favorite restaurants (Miss Shirley's CafĂ©), attending a cookout and having a pedicure/manicure session and brunch date with friends. What are your plans for the July 4th weekend? You can follow my activities on Instagram and on Snapchat (Jadore-Fashion).

I love the pictures on this post with the flags as the backdrop. A casual look in flare jeans and stripe top will be great for the holiday weekend. If you are unsure of what to wear this weekend to cookouts or other activities, try this Milly stripe skirt and crop top or something simple like a stripe top or dress.

Happy Independence Day

Orchid Print

Asos Tall Salon High Waist Wide Leg Pants In Orchid Print
The orchid print and off-shoulder top of this set makes it one of my favorites this summer. The pant and top are versatile and can be paired together or separately with different tops/pants.
I see myself pairing the off shoulder top with a jeans shorts or high waist jeans. The pant will look great if paired with a different off-shoulder top or a blush blouse. I completed the look with white and beige strappy sandals.

Draped Maxi

Club L One Shoulder Drape Maxi Dress
When Asos asked if I could do a modern day post on a 70s disco icon, I was very excited and none other than Diana Ross came to mind. She remains my favorite disco icon and her style is not easy to duplicate. This Asos Maxi Dress embodies my personal style and my attempt to draw from Diana Ross’s (as seen below). The look showcases her glamorous, classy and feminine style; now, I wish I can sing like her :)

Check It!

sassy flare check print dress with gladiators
This chicwish dress brings back fun summer memories and the cut and style has a playful side to it. The check print and sassy flare makes it a great and perfect outfit for the summer.
It will look great if paired with white converse sneakers but for this post, I went with gladiator sandals that I have owned for years - gives a unique touch to outfits. The buckle and style is ageless and I completed the look with a straw boater hat.

Keepsake Restless Heart Polka Dot Dress
Though I love “Polka Dots”, the last time I wore one was for a maternity shoot here. I could not resist the pattern and cut of this Keepsake dress; the back details is awesome. This is a perfect outfit for a date night when paired with pumps or with strappy heels.  For a casual take, you can pair with flats or converse if you want a sporty look.

Cord Lace

Time flies so fast during the weekend especially when you are having fun. After celebrating father’s day on Sunday morning, my husband came home to a surprise belated birthday party which I organized. He was out of town on his birthday so he had no idea of the party. It was fun and I had an empowering ladies gathering too. How was your weekend?

Today's post is a feminine mix with a casual twist. The color of the cord lace skirt is perfect to officially usher-in summer. I paired it with a stripe button-down shirt with slightly cuffed sleeves for a casual feel. Stripe shirts are versatile and they complement several prints and textures. I completed the look with beige pumps for a subtle feel.

Casual White

Yaay… It’s Friday. Happy Friday friends and hope your week was lovely. Today’s post is my take on “all-white ensemble”. I love white outfits and this flare jeans and off-shoulder ensemble makes my day.

I can’t fully describe how much I love the Dittos flare jeans - very soft with a great fit and the length is just perfect. I wore this off-shoulder dress as a top; off-shoulder tops are must-haves for the summer. They look great with gladiator flats for casual outings and you can pair with this white converse which I currently love.
