It felt like spring

It might not be as warm as summer, but one of the days, it felt like spring. It was so warm that it felt unbelievable for such warmth in February here in Maryland. I had to quickly pretend like it was summer for a second (disclaimer: don't try this at home--it was a bit cold LOL). 

Where at thou, warm weather? I miss my summer outfits especially after being in Nigeria for nearly a month with sunlight and warmth.

Anyway, this is a short week for me because I was off on Monday. I am looking forward to the weekend already. I have a wedding to attend this weekend. What do I wear? Since I don't have the "Asoebi" (couple's uniform), I am thinking of wearing a long skirt or a capri type pants similar to this post here.

Green + Polka Dots

Hello beautiful people! Happy Monday! How is everyone doing today? I feel so energized because I had a day off and got the opportunity to rest, sleep in and still finished majority of my school work--Amen to that :) 

This winter has been really mild for us here in Maryland. I hope I didn't jinx it. I can't wait for spring to begin. I am really looking forward to another vacation. I can't say how much I love traveling--something about airports, planes, and suitcases just cheers me up. Until then, I can keep looking at this beautiful picture of my dream vacation Bali on my Facebook page here :)

Blue Sky

Hello loves! How is everyone's week been so far? I hope you all had a wonderful Valentine's day? I had a lovely Valentine's day though I spent three hours of my evening in a strategic management class. 

Earlier in the day, I got a surprise delivery from my hubby. I was so shocked when I got a call from him asking me to come outside at work. Initially, I thought he was kidding because he told me earlier that he was at work. When I got outside, he was actually standing there with 2 dozens of pink and red roses. I was blushing like a new bride :) Then my shy self, I had to carry the huge flowers back to my desk and everyone I passed screamed, "awwwww" :) The surprise and flowers definitely made my day--Love you babe!

On another note, did you guys watch the Grammys? Any favorite performer? I couldn't get enough of Adele--love her! I also enjoyed Bruno Mars and David Guetta. My least favorite performer was definitely Nicky Minaj. Her whole performance was just weird.

Mary Katrantzou for Topshop SS12

At only 28 years old, Mary Katrantzou is one of London's brightest talents and the person behind these impeccable designs and vibrant prints. She has recently partnered with Topshop to create a ten-piece capsule  with stand out pieces with dresses reminiscing porcelain vase. 

These pieces features structured dresses, slim pants and tops covered with prints. Being so obsessed with prints and florals, you could imagine how I felt when I saw these Topshop pieces. I have been in love with Mary Katrantzou's creations since her spring 2011 collection. What is there not to love!

The Topshop collection is set to hit selected stores on February 17th -- prices ranging from $63-$550

I am in love with the chaotic, unique, but yet thoughtful prints and fabric. It is hard not to love her creation.

Red Skinnies

Hello beautiful people...

Hope everyone is having a great week so far. I can't believe the weekend is almost here again. For some reason, I am really looking forward to the weekend because of the Grammys & red carpet styles even though I know that most of my weekend will be spent in the library. To compensate myself, I will be catching up on Gossip Girl, 90210 and also watching the Grammy red carpet; therefore, don't forget to follow me on twitter here because I will be tweeting about my opinion on the styles. Also NYFW starts next week; I can't wait to see what the designers has to offer :)

Emerald Floral

Happy Monday! Another week just began in the month of February. As the week goes by, I patiently look forward to having less school work or just being done with school. Once school began couple weeks ago, my weekends has been spent working on cases and group meetings. I spent my whole Saturday after work working with my group throughout the night. In between that, I was able to squeeze in some personal time to get a manicure and pedicure.

After church on Sunday, I spent my evening making spaghetti and meatball, which is one of my favorite food. Later on, I worked on my school assignments while waiting for the Superbowl to start. Of course, I couldn't miss Madonna's performance, which was good, but I expected more from her -- I am not really feeling the new song either.

On the other hand, the commercials were also interesting. I love the Dorritos commercial with the little baby and also the E*trade commercial. What was your favorite Superbowl commercial?

Guess who made another debut on here...my husband :) 

When I asked him to come and take a picture with me, his response was: "Hmmm...I'm I making another debut on J'adore?" I couldn't help it, but laugh at his reaction; which I replied saying,"let's see if you will make the editing board" lol!
