Work Style: Feminine Pastel

Hi everyone! Hope you all had a great weekend. I spent my Saturday celebrating a friend’s beautiful and lovely wedding. It was also nice meeting old friends and a couple of my readers. It was a weekend to remember.

We are having a surprisingly cold spring here in Maryland and I am keeping warm in my pastel pink coat. The pink coat has a feminine touch to it and for contrast, I paired with a black off shoulder top and completed the look with floral pumps.

Lately, I have been leaning towards certain items for spring especially pastel colored skirts and nail polish. At the moment, I am wearing a peach OPI nail polish as seen on my previous post here. Other items on my spring wish list include stripes, polka dots, and white dresses. White Out

At times, wearing white is refreshing and chic; for me, it is not limited to certain seasons or special occasions. For today’s post, I paired a lace skirt, cami and a fitted white jacket for a chic and classy look. I accessorized with a pearl necklace from "The Pearl Source" and a mix of white & beige sandals for contrast. I put on my red lipstick to add a pop of color

Shades of Rose

Chicwish has become my “go to source” for midi and floral print skirts because of the variety they offer.

I was drawn to this skirt as a result of the rose patterns and I mixed by pairing it with a check print crop top. The Yellow shades of rose on the skirt complement the yellow check prints of the crop top. The skirt can definitely be paired with a light pink blouse, or a white blouse with black details or just something neutral.

Emerald Jewel

Hi guys! Hope you all had a great weekend. I spent some quality time with the family and we attended a beautiful wedding.

Today’s featured post is a jeweled print suit from Pearls and Portraits. Their collection is very unique and I previously I wore their maxi dress here. I enjoy collaborating with new designers and this print suit fits perfectly. I paired it with a simple white blouse and completed the look with emerald pumps to complement the dominant color of the pieces.
